Explore a playful and joyful journey of transformation and healing.
You are warmly invited into The Heart of Flow Method- a profoundly creative process that guides you on an adventure of gentle self-connection and expression.
The Heart of Flow Method is rooted in trauma-informed, somatic embodiment, and mindfulness principles.
This transformative journey is an embodied map of art, writing, movement, energy healing and somatic embodiment. It's thoughtfully designed to help you explore the depths of your heart to embrace all of life's emotions, and discover the freedom of living joyfully.
No prior experience necessary. You don’t need to consider yourself creative- this isn’t about performance it’s about expression.
You'll receive nourishing support and a toolkit to integrate challenging emotions, regulate the nervous system, and unravel frustrating patterns through rewiring the impact of past conditioning and trauma. The process is deep, healing, and infused with imagination.
It stirs open the possibility of being able to deeply trust our ability to navigate life.

Hi, I’m Maya-
it’s an absolute pleasure
to connect with you.
Let’s talk about joy.
The kind of joy that makes you feel expansive and uplifts your heart.
Sometimes joy can be surprisingly uncomfortable to stomach, especially if we don’t feel safe enough in our bodies and our beings.
When the spectrum of emotions we give ourselves (conscious or unconscious) permission to feel is within a limited range, joy also gets the short end of the stick.
So what I offer to you here, what I am so incredibly excited to share with you is a transformational map- a method I created (or rather that chose me) called The Heart of Flow Method that helps you expand capacity for cultivating joy while digesting emotions and challenges you’ve been struggling with.
My approach is grounded in the belief that true joy comes from connecting with yourself and making space for all of life's experiences.
Whether you're new to this work or a seasoned practitioner, this transformational map will help you develop a sense of safety in your body, feel deeply, and embrace your full range of emotions to create new possibilities.
Our work is rooted in curiosity and openness. We will explore the unconscious realms of the psyche as we translate emotion into creative expression.
Whether this is a new beginning for you, or the continuation of an adventure you’ve been on for a while, you are so welcome here just as you are.
I’m a Trauma Informed Coach and Facilitator devoted to supporting individuals and groups through The Heart of Flow method.
The Heart of Flow method evolved from the threads of deep inner work from my own personal healing journey (which has been a doozy and also deeply rewarding at the same time) combined with extensive training in somatic and healing practices, creative facilitation, energy healing and trauma recovery along with my professional experiences including work with survivors of sexual assault, gendered violence, religious persecution and those who have lost loved ones to suicide or homicide.
Our exploration engages the imagination and the body to evoke mind, body, heart and spirit to collaborate together.
By intentionally expressing ourselves in these ways we make the invisible issues and overwhelming emotions tangible, unlocking parts of ourselves that yearn for attention and care. Instead of fighting with our survival mechanisms we engage meaningfully with them while honouring their intelligence.
I personally believe that we can go deeper into our process when it’s balanced with playfulness.
This work is deep, it’s transformational and healing but most of all it’s playful.

Please Note: This work is not therapy or meant to act as a substitute for psychotherapy nor am I a licensed therapist or mental health provider. If you are experiencing significant mental health challenges, please seek out an appropriate clinician to support you. Full transparency matters to me so I also want to make clear that I do not have previous experience working with people with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and it may be more appropriate for people with ASD to seek practitioners who have those specific skills.

I just wanted to thank you for the most beautiful and affirming sessions that we have undertaken in this nurturing collaboration. I honestly haven’t had a session where I felt so seen, secure, loved and held.
Your gentle encouragement and space holding allowed me to approach things that needed to be looked at, to have awareness around pattens within my system that were activating and then supporting, to access my inner resources and find and foster a deep connection to my essential self.
I love that you also inject humour at the most appropriate times ..this laughter was such a healing balm. You have tremendous healing capacity and hold space with so much tenderness.
I also enjoyed very much the way we integrated the work together and how you use art to bring things out of my soul to paper. Pretty niche. Some weeks we let movement emerge spontaneously and had dance party where I felt self consciousness leave my body. The work we did feels divine. It has a Godly quality. Very special. Very transformative.
I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to be in your heart space. I have learnt a lot from you Maya and will highly recommend you. Such a powerful and compassionate healer, coach and person with perfect pitch and attunement.

My experience with Maya’s workshops have been imperative to my personal growth. In her loving guidance - I was able to access emotions that were keeping me trapped and disconnected from my true self.
Her approach is gentle, yet powerful. I loved using colouring, dancing and writing to channel my emotions - and integrate them in a way that was meaningful.
After each session I felt more alive and more accepting of myself as a human being worthy of exploring her light and her darkness.
My life transitioned quickly - especially after the third session - and my old patterns blocking me from accessing the love in my heart shifted quickly. I have been able to form deeper connections, explore more self care and admire my inner child more than ever before.
Furthermore - I learned how to embody my own emotions more holistically. Maya made me present to my gait when I was housing a certain feeling and held space for me to utilize my body through dance to effectively represent my inner world and what was occurring deeply.
I highly recommend Maya’s work if you are looking to process and integrate emotions you have been suppressing for a long time.
